Visual Indication, Manual/Auto Reset
The Thread-O-Ring™ is a high-performance intrusive pig passage indicator designed to seamlessly integrate into existing Thread-O-Ring™ nipple fittings. It provides precise, reliable detection of cleaning pigs as they move through the pipeline. When a pig activates the intruding plunger, the device signals its passage via a visual flag indicator and/or an electrical switch.

Product Description
Designed to be installed into an existing THREAD-O-RING™ nipple fitting, this Apache pigPRO™ indicator is a member of the patented line of intrusive pig passage indicators that reliably detect the precise location of a cleaning pig as it travels within the pipeline network. When a cleaning pig passes the pigPRO’s intruding plunger, it activates the plunger and triggers a visual flag indicator and/or an electric switch, signaling the pig’s location.
Shown with Series 57 which includes visual flag indication, manual reset.
Also available in Series 55 which includes electrical switch with automatic reset, or Series 53 which includes both the visual flag indication and electrical switch. Flanged options are available for all styles.

Options Available
- Available in Series 53, 55 and 57.
- Custom O-Ring materials available upon request to meet chemical and temperature requirements.
- Series 53 and 55 are available with a mechanical or magnetic microswitch.
- Switch options include UL listed, CSA certified, ATEX and NEMA rated, to fit most applications.
- Mounting: the Thread-O-Ring™ Retrofit model is designed to mount to an existing Thread-O-Ring™ nipple. When the existing pipeline connection is a flanged outlet, a standard PigPRO™ flanged indicator can be installed.
Extension Pole
Aluminum extensions can be attached to enable detection of the pig’s passage on buried pipelines. All pressure sealing components remain below the extension module. Available in lengths 2′ to 10′.
